Police investigate fatal shooting of Missouri City woman
Houston Police are awaiting autopsy results from the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Missouri City resident Sherisia Nerocker, who was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound just before 8 a.m. Saturday, June 2 at 6030 Winsome.
Nerocker was pronounced dead at the scene, with her cause of death pending the autopsy findings from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
According to a police report filed by the Houston Police Department Homicide Division Sgt. W. Meeler and Sgt. C. Howard, the victim was found lying on the back porch of an apartment unit with a pistol near her body and several suicide notes in a nearby vehicle.
