Memorial property management company blamed for child's crushed fingers
A Memorial-area property management company is being sued over claims its failure to properly maintain the grounds of a Harris County apartment complex caused a child's injuries.
Divina Vargas, on behalf of her minor son, filed a lawsuit on Friday, June 1 in the Harris County District Court against Crestmarc Sierra Rand and Memorial company Productive Property Management, citing negligence.
Vargas says on April 21, her young son's fingers were crushed when the concrete bench he was sitting on collapsed. According to the brief, the defendants failed to properly maintain the bench, which was located in a common area of a Harris County apartment complex.
Vargas is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Sugar Land attorney Carlos Leon.
