Offshore broker relists 5BD in Cedarwood

Bjoern C. Jacobsen has relisted a five-bedroom, five-bath home at 8618 Lupton Lane in Spring Valley Village for $1.1 million.

Jacobsen originally listed the home with Martha Turner Properties for $1.15 million on Sept. 6. He relisted it at the existing price on Nov. 1. Diane Kingshill of Martha Turner Properties is still the current listing agent.

Jacobsen acquired the property in July 2008. The 4,361-square-foot house was built in 2008 and is valued at $893,382. It is part of the Cedarwood subdivision.

Jacobsen is an executive vice president at R.S. Platou Inc., a ship and offshore broking company. Prior to that, he was a senior rig broker at Fearnley Offshore LLC.

He received an M.B.A. from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 66 home sales in Spring Valley Village during the past 12 months.
