Police investigate fatal crash

Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed 28-year-old Marcus Guerrero-Bacon of Katy on Friday, June 8, according to a press release.

The crash happened around 11:40 p.m. at 9600 Hempstead Highway when Guerrero-Bacon, who was driving a silver Nissan Maxima at a high rate of speed south on the 610 West Loop S. service road near the intersection of Hempstead Highway, disregarded a turn-only sign and drove over a curb. The car struck train tracks and flipped several times.

Guerrero-Bacon died at the crash site.

The investigation into the crash continues.
