Conroe country club, Memorial man sued over alleged golf cart accident

A Memorial man is suing over claims he fell 30 feet into a rocky creek while playing golf at a Conroe-area country club.

James Teran filed a lawsuit on Monday, June 18 in the Harris County District Court against River Plantation Management, Memorial resident Jerry Keith Wall and River Plantation Properties, citing negligence.

Teran says on June 10, 2010, he sustained serious injuries while playing golf at the River Plantation County Club, located in Conroe.

The suit alleges the incident occurred when a golf cart used by Teran fell 30 feet from a covered bridge, with defective wooden railings, and crashed into a rocky stream.

Teran is seeking damages and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Brent Cordell.
