Greater Houston Restaurant Association honors president
The Greater Houston Restaurant Association honored outgoing President Chris O'Donnell during the annual President's Dinner held Wednesday, June 20 at Maggiano's Little Italy, located at 2019 Post Oak Blvd., Houston.
During the dinner, O'Donnell was recognized for his contributions to the GHRA and the Houston restaurant industry. While serving with the GHRA, O'Donnell also served on the board of the Texas Restaurant Association, as well as the board and executive committee of the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau. He most recently worked as an area director for Chili's.
O'Donnell's GHRA career also included participation in the National Restaurant Association's Public Affairs Conference held in Washington, D.C., and as an organizer of the Pro-Start High School Culinary Competition. He also participated as a guest speaker for the University of Houston's Conrad Hilton School of Hotel and Restaurant Management's Distinguished Leadership Series.
O'Donnell will continue his career at Texas, Brothers Produce, where he will serve as vice president of sales and marketing for the Greater Houston area Texas, Brothers Produce.
