IREM to host LEED Luncheon July 19
The sixth annual IREM LEED Luncheon Celebrating Houston Sustainability will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. July 19 at Westin Memorial City, located at 945 Gessner Road in Houston.
At the luncheon, Houston area management companies will be recognized for their LEED Certifications.
Speaking at the event will be Rives Taylor, who has more than 25 years experience in institutional and commercial architecture planning, programming and design. He developed a firm-wide green practice primer known as "The Four Tiers of Sustainability."
The cost to attend the luncheon is $1,000 for a regular reserved table of 10 and $1,500 for a limited prime-placement reserved table of 10 with signage. Single tickets are limited and available on a first-come first-served basis.
The LEED Study Session for those interested in becoming a LEED Green Associate will be held before the Luncheon. Registration will start at 7:30 a.m. and the session will take place from 8-11:30 a.m.
The session will be presented by Jeff Chapman, member of the Kirskey EcoServices Team. The cost for attendance is $100 per person, which does not include luncheon attendance.
