Houstons Aerobifit Fitness Introduces New Barre Classes
“Barre classes follow a vigorous pace–moving through a sequence of postures designed to shape and lift the entire body,” Susan Magee of Aerobifit Fitness said.
The Cardio Sculpt Barre class emphasizes basic alignment, foundation and specific muscle actions to balance the body. It is a total body workout that executes stretching techniques, cardio moves, utilizes light weights, burns fat and is guaranteed to make clients sweat.
The Power Barre class follows the basics described in Cardio Sculpt Barre. The workout is similar, but at a slightly faster aerobic pace, with more options to increase the intensity of each pouter, exercise sequence and activity. Clients must be prepared to burn fat, get in shape and have a blast.
The cost for these classes is included in gym membership or non-members can purchase a package of 10 classes for $120. Space is limited for these classes, so participants must register for classes online!
Classes will be held on Mondays at 9:30 a.m., Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 9:30 a.m.
Aerobifit Fitness also offers other services, including personal training and group fitness classes; pilates, which builds strength without excess bulk; zumba, a Latin-inspired dance-fitness class; nutrition, a science-based program that is customized for individual results; and Core-Babies, post-natal classes for mothers and infants.
“Aerobifit Fitness memberships include one-free hour with a personal trainer at sign-up, all group fitness classes, unlimited access to work out and use of equipment at your leisure, and free towel service,” Magee said.
