William T. Williams Jr. (1925-2012)
William T. Williams Jr., a longtime member of the Houston Downtown Lions Club, died July 2, 2012, after a long illness.
Born on Nov. 29, 1925, in Memphis, Tenn., Williams served in the 95th Bomber Wing of the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II.
He was a graduate of the University of Houston and went on to work and retire from the Texas Employment Commission.
Williams was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church and taught Sunday school with his wife, Judy, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by nephew, Mike Schulz ,of Houston; niece, Ann E. Schulz Cree, of Fort Davis; and niece, Janine Perkinson Zener, of Houston.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, July 10, at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, located at 12800 Westheimer, in Houston.
