Saint Brendan's to host Celtic ritual event
Saint Brendan’s Celtic Community is inviting the public to a free Connla’s Well meeting at 6 p.m. July 28 at CenterPoint, 1920 Hollister St., Houston.
Connla’s Well involves teaching, discussion and fellowship sessions that focus on nature, indigenous wisdom, mythology, philosophy, religion, science or the arts. For July, the group will celebrate Lughnasadh, or the triumph of light over darkness that marks the beginning of first harvest.
The group asks for a donation of a non-perishable food item to benefit local pantries.
