Spring Branch runner completes Orange Leaf Half Marathon

Julie Pyle, 21, of Spring Branch completed the Orange Leaf Half Marathon in 2:23:58.

The event was held on Saturday, July 14 in New Braunfels. A total of 378 runners finished the 13.1-mile race, which started in the parking lot of Orange Leaf-Creekside Shopping Center.

The course is USA Track and Field-certified.

Noel Hernandez of Irving was the men’s overall winner with a time of 1:18:34, while Lauren Versweyveld of Houston was the women’s winner in 1:23:43.
