Hart Energy hires senior financial analyst

Christopher Sheehan is joining Hart Energy as the energy news and technology publisher's new senior financial analyst.

In his new role, Sheehan will contribute editorial content to Oil and Gas Investor and Midstream Business magazines, as well as to Hart Energy's digital media channels.

"Chris brings to Hart Energy a new level of financial expertise. His deep familiarity with the energy industry, his extensive professional network and his analytical skills will benefit all of our products," said Peggy Williams, editorial director, in a press release.

During his 20 years in the industry, Sheehan has focused on analyzing companies and industry trends in the energy and natural resources sector. Highlights include four years with RBC Capital Markets LLC, where he served as director of capital markets, and 10 years with Petrie Parkman & Co. Inc. as vice president of equity capital markets.

He earned a B.A. from the University of Bradford in Yorkshire, England, obtained his C.F.A. accreditation and is a member of the Denver Society of Security Analysts.
