Memorial restaurant blamed for alcohol-related attack
A Memorial-area restaurant is being sued over claims it fueled a drunken attack when it over-served alcohol to a customer.
Andrew Bruce and Goldi Ardekani filed a liquor liability suit on July 26 in Harris County District Court against Little Napoli, in Memorial, and Jeremy Tran.
The plaintiffs say on Jan. 21, Tran punched Bruce in the face, charged at him with a 6-inch knife and then punched Arekani in the face as the three stood outside of Little Napoli, located at 6445 Westheimer Road in Memorial.
The suit alleges the attack happened after Little Napopli employees served a Tran alcoholic beverages for more than three hours, according to the brief.
The plaintiffs are seeking damages and court costs. They are being represented in the case by Houston attorneys Alexander Forrest and Alan Kolodny.
