Farmers Insurance selects Empyrean Benefit Solutions for benefits administration
Farmers Insurance has chosen Empyrean Benefit Solutions to handle health and welfare benefits administration for its agents and their employees.
Farmers Insurance has 50,000 agents and 24,000 employees.
"We were happy with our earlier service provider, but they were acquired by one of the large firms," said Linda Yezek, director of agent benefits for Farmers, via a press release. "So we decided to survey the market to ensure who was the best fit. Through this process, we came to know Empyrean and appreciated what they could do for us, especially how they could create a Farmers-specific solution."
Officials at Empyrean say they are benefiting from the dissatisfaction customers are experiencing with larger benefits providers that are too inflexible and expensive, according to a press release. Empyrean's services include core health and welfare benefits administration (eligibility management, enrollment, reporting and communications), call center, COBRA/HIPAA and direct billing.
Empyrean Benefit Solutions provides technology and services for managing large and middle-market employers' health and benefit programs. For more information, visit GoEmpyrean.com.
Farmers Insurance insures automobiles, homes and small businesses and also provides a wide range of other financial services. Farmers serves more than 10 million households across all 50 states. For details, visit Farmers.com.
