Memorial grocery blamed for shattered knee
A Houston man is suing a Memorial-area grocery store after, he says, he slipped and shattered his right kneecap.
Robert McConn filed a premises liability lawsuit Aug. 3 in the Harris County District Court against Randall's Food and Drugs, located at 5161 San Felipe in Memorial.
According to the brief, McConn says on April 30, 2011, he was shopping at Randall's Grocery when he slipped and fell because of liquid that had leaked from a grocery cart holding items to be re-shelved by store clerks.
McConn is seeking damages and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Fred Hagans.
