Company adds Ferrenz, Young to team
Houston-based regenerative medicine services company Celltex Therapeutics Corp. has hired Andrea Ferrenz and Jane Shen Young to its staff.
Ferrenz's title is executive vice president, legal counsel. She has more than 15 years of experience with a concentration on food, drug and health law. She has previously worked at Emord & Associates, P.C. in Washington D.C. and The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Children's National Medical Center's Center for Cancer and Transplantation Biology. She has a juris doctorate from George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C. and a degree in biology from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Va.
New Manufacturing Research Scientist Young brings to Celltex an expertise in cell biology, molecular genetics and biochemistry. She was formerly employed by Pharmaceutical Product Development Inc. of Middleton, Wis. and has been an internal physician at the Department of Medicine at Wang-Jiang-Shan Hospital in Zhejiang, China. She also has been in Sweden for molecular biology and biochemistry work and has co-authored several publications on a variety of medical topics. She received her doctoral degree from Lund University, Faculty of Medicine in Sweden and medical degree from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in Zhejiang, China.
