CRAVE Cupcakes and MD Anderson Partnership for September
Cupcakes created by patients at Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, which will be sold as part of a fundraiser for the facility.
CRAVE Cupcakes will feature special sugar toppers on select cupcakes for the first two weeks in September that were designed by University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center patients as a fundraiser.
The toppers will be placed on strawberry, chocolate, vanilla and red velvet cupcakes at both CRAVE Cupcake locations. The toppers feature the CRAVE Cupcakes mixer logo in colorful patterns. For every cupcake sold during that time period, the bakery will donate $1 to the Arts in Medicine Program at the hospital. Cupcakes are $3.50 each.
The Arts in Medicine program at MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital is a support program that works on both large projects and one-on-one art sessions with patients. The program is guided by artist-in-residents Ian Cion with hospital psychologist Martha Askins.
CRAVE Cupcake bakeries are located at 1151-06 Uptown Park Blvd. and 5600 Kirby Drive, both in Houston.
