Zina Garrison Academy offers youth tennis instruction
Zina Garrison Academy is offering youth tennis instruction in its novice and beginner program for ages 4 to 18 starting Wednesday, Sept. 12 and running to Wednesday, May 22.
Classes meet two times per week; once Wednesday and once Friday. Attendance is open to the public.
All classes are broken down by age group.
Ages 4 to 6 meet from 4-4:45 p.m.; ages 7 to 12 meet from 5-6 p.m.; and ages 13 to 18 meet from 6-7 p.m.
In order to participate, an application must be filled out and brought to the park when the appropriate age group meets. All participants should wear a hat and athletic shoes.

The academy also offers advanced instruction Z1 and Z2 programs.
Advanced, G1 and Futures programs all require approval from the Director of Tennis.
The G1 Competitive Program meets from 5:45-7 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The Futures Program meets from 5:45-7 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
All tennis programs take place at the Lee LeClear Tennis Center located at 9506 S. Gessner, Houston.
