Hunters Creek Garden Club kicks off fall season Sept. 7
The Hunters Creek Garden Club will begin its fall season with a program on Glenwood Cemetery at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7 at Hunters Creek City Hall.
This free program is for all people who enjoy gardening and will feature Jim Parsons of Houston Preservation. Parsons will give a slide presentation, titled "The Silent Garden," which will tell the story about Houston's first planned garden in Glenwood Cemetery.
Participants will learn the history and inside story about the famous and infamous characters who were laid to rest there, according to a press release.
Reservations are requested.
Hunters Creek City Hall is located at 1 Hunters Creek Place, off Brogden between Beinhorn and Gaylord, Houston.
