Four new members of Alumni Service Corp return to Jesuit
Four new members of the school's Alumni Service Corps are returning to Strake Jesuit for the 2012-13 school year. ASC is made of recent graduates who decide to return to the school for a year to teach or work with extra-curricular activities while they live on campus. The following ASC members will be back for the school year: Tom Beverick, class of 2007, is a recent graduate of Texas A&M University, where he received a bachelor's degree in history and English. He will be teaching English 1 at Jesuit and acting as assistant coach for football and basketball. Eduardo Hernandez, class of 2008, graduated from Rice University with a degree in religious studies and a minor in biochemistry and cell biology. He will be teaching Algebra 1 and helping with the soccer program. Henry Roth, class of 2007, recently completed a bachelor degree in management with a double-major in legal studies in business and history at Tulane University. He will be assisting with the pastoral ministries offices as well as the football and lacrosse programs. Peter Wyrsch, class of 2008, studied history at Willamette University where he received a bachelor's degree. He will be teaching U.S. History and working with the cross country team.
