Spring Branch runner completes La Loteria Run 5K

An athlete from Spring Branch completed the La Loteria Run 5K on Sept. 16 in San Antonio.

Mariana Schielzeth finished with a time of 29:48.

A total of 415 finished the 5K race, which was held at Brackenridge Park at the Koehler Pavillion.

Erik Burciaga, of San Antonio, was the men's overall winner with a time of 15:46, while Betzy Jimenez, of Austin, was the winner in the women's category with 17:25.
