Alzheimers Association offers free educational program Nov. 8
The Alzheimer’s Association will offer a free educational program from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8 at Chapelwood United Methodist Church in Houston.
According to the organization, the program will explore meaningful tasks caregivers and persons with dementia can complete at any stage of the disease. It will offer purposeful activities like putting the groceries away together or working on a scrapbook as a team. These interactions allow caregivers to focus on the strengths of their loved one.
