Houston Choral Showcase announces 80th anniversary holiday show

The Houston Choral Showcase will present its 80th annual holiday show at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16 at Christ Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Houston.

The show, titled Come on, It's Christmas, will feature jazz arrangements of holiday tunes, songs from Christmas movies, classics and comedy. The choral performance will be enhanced by staging, choreography and professional orchestral accompaniment, according to a press release.

The 90-minute show will include the introduction of former showcase members who attend the performance. An audience reception will take place following the concert.

Preview performances of this show will take place at the Uptown Holiday Lighting on Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 30 and Friday, Dec. 7 at the Sugar Land Town Square.
