Westbury Christian grad Orrange contributes to Stanford victory
Westbury Christian High School graduate Amber Orrange scored eight points in Stanford University's 71-69 home win over Baylor Friday, Nov. 16 at Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, according to Stanford's website.
The sophomore guard also recorded four rebounds and three assists for the Cardinals, who improved to 4-0 on the season.
Orrange is a 2011 graduate of Westbury Christian, where she was named to the Parade High School All-America Team in 2011. Orrange was also a 2011 MaxPreps All-American, 2011 McDonald's High School All-American, 2011 MaxPreps All-American. She was also named an All-Greater Houston Player of the Year and to the All-Greater Houston First Team by the Houston Chronicle in 2011. Orrange is from Houston and is the daughter of James and Elexa Orrange.
