Strake Jesuit grad plays in Pennsylvania State University's victory

Strake Jesuit graduate Tim Frazier contributed in Pennsylvania State University's 55-52 victory against Providence College on Nov. 16 in college basketball action.

According to the Pennsylvania State University's website, Frazier, a senior guard, recorded 19 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for Pennsylvania State University, who improved to 2-2 on the season. The game was played at Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez in Bayamon, PR.

Pennsylvania State University's next game is Sunday, Nov. 18 at home against Akron.

Frazier played at Strake Jesuit in 2006-2009 leading them to state semi-finals as a senior. He was named the No. 1 recruit in the state of Texas out of the Class of 2009 by TexasHoops.com. In that same year Frazier was also ranked No. 13 among point-gaurds by ESPN and given an overall grade of 89 (against top-115 nationally) by ESPN. While starting four years and captain for three, Rivals national recruiting service rated him a three-star recruit and, among many other accomplishments as a senior, Frazier was named MVP and All-Greater Houston Player of the Year. Lettering in football and track, he is the son of Billy and Janice Frazier.
