Westbury Christian grad Collins helps South Florida win
Westbury Christian High School graduate Anthony Collins contributed 13 points in University of South Florida's 78-59 home victory over Maryland Eastern Shore Friday, Nov. 16 at the Sun Dome in Tampa, according to South Florida's website.
The sophomore guard also recorded two rebounds, seven assists, two steals and a block for the Bulls, who improved to 1-1 on the season.
The University of South Florida also played Saturday, Nov. 17 at home against Loyola-Chicago.
Collins, a 6-foot-1 guard, is a 2011 graduate of Westbury Christian High School. He earned first team all-state honors three years in a row during high school. He is a Houston native.
