Westbury Christian grad Orrange helps in Stanford win
Westbury Christian High School graduate Amber Orrange contributed 12 points in Stanford University's 92-68 win over University of Tennessee at Martin Sunday, Nov. 18 at Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, according to Stanford's website.
The sophomore guard also recorded seven rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and a block for Stanford, which improved to 5-0 on the season.
Orrange is is a 2011 graduate of Westbury Christian High School in Houston where she was named to the Parade High School All-America Team in 2011. She was also a 2011 MaxPreps All-American, 2011 McDonald's High School All-American, 2011 MaxPreps All-American. She was also named an All-Greater Houston Player of the Year and to the All-Greater Houston First Team by the Houston Chronicle in 2011. Orrange is from Houston and is the daughter of James and Elexa Orrange.
