Houston's Country Playhouse presents 'A Christmas Carol'
The Country Playhouse will present "A Christmas Carol" starting Thursday, Dec. 6.
John Stevens plays Ebenezer Scrooge in the timeless story about the spirit of Christmas. "I have always loved this story," said Stevens, according to a press release. "No holiday season is complete for me without a generous helping of Scrooge, poor Jacob Marley, the three ghosts and all the rest."
Shows are at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, Dec. 6 and Dec. 13, and Monday, Dec. 24; 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Dec. 7-22; and 2 p.m. Sundays, Dec. 9 and Dec. 16.
During intermission, choristers from local churches will sing Christmas songs in the lobby. Hot cider and figgy pudding will be available.
Tickets cost $15 for adults and $12 for seniors, students and children.
Country Playhouse is at 12802 Queensbury Lane.
