Local hospitals plan conference for prenatal health care providers
The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and Childrens Memorial Hermann Hospital will host a two-day educational and interactive conference for prenatal health care providers Friday and Saturday, Jan. 11-12 at the Westin Houston at Memorial City Hotel.
The conference will be directed by Dr. Michael Bebbington and Dr. Baha Sibai professors in the UT Health Medical School, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, according to a press release.
The event aims to provide physicians, nurses, sonographers, midwives and other prenatal health care providers with the latest knowledge and understanding in the detection, evaluation, and treatment for high-risk pregnancies.
Participants will learn about fetal anomalies and integrating guidelines into clinical care for improving patient outcomes.
The hotel is located at 945 Gessner, Houston.
