Jeremy King, Loyola University (Illinois)

High school: St. Thomas High School
This week: Saturday, Dec. 8, at Michigan State University
About King: Houston native King is a freshman center for Loyola University (Illinois). He is a 2012 graduate of St. Thomas High School in Houston, where he was a three-time team defensive most valuable player and collected all-district and district defensive MVP honors for the 2011-12 season. He was ranked as the No. 24 player in Houston by rcssports.com.

Tim Frazier, Pennsylvania State University
Position: Guard
High school: Strake Jesuit
This week: Saturday, Dec. 8, vs. U.S. Military Academy
About Frazier: Frazier played at Strake Jesuit in 2006-2009 leading them to state semi-finals as a senior. He was named the No. 1 recruit in the state of Texas out of the Class of 2009 by TexasHoops.com. In that same year Frazier was also ranked No. 13 among point guards by ESPN and given an overall grade of 89 (against top 115 nationally) by ESPN. While starting four years and captain for three, Rivals national recruiting service rated him a three-star recruit and, among many other accomplishments as a senior, Frazier was named MVP and All-Greater Houston Player of the Year. Lettering in football and track he is the son of Billy and Janice Frazier.

Devon Turk, Loyola University (Illinois)
Position: Guard
High School: Westbury Christian High School

About Turk: Houston native Turk is a freshman guard for Loyola University. He is a 2012 graduate of Westbury Christian High School in Houston where he was considered one of the top shooters from the Houston area.

Johnavon Linton, Schreiner University
High School: Westbury Christian High School
This week: Sunday, Dec. 9, at UT-Dallas
About Linton: Linton, a native of Houston, is a freshman basketball player for Schreiner University. He is a 2012 graduate of Westbury Christian High School in Houston.

Julien Person, Case Western Reserve University
Position: Guard
High School: Second Baptist High School
This week: Sunday, Dec. 9, at Kalamazoo College
About Person: Person is a sophomore guard for Case Western Reserve University.He is a 2011 graduate Magna Cum Laude of Second Baptist High School in Houston, where he was named to the All-State Tournament Team and All-District Second Team, and to the National Honor Society. The management major is the son of Christophe and Beatrice Person of Houston.

Joey Brooks, University of Notre Dame
Position: Guard
High School: Strake Jesuit
This week:Saturday, Dec. 8, vs. Brown University
About Brooks: Brooks played his senior year at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory in 2008-2009 were he was a three-year starter under head coach Wayne Jones. A three time captain, he finished his senior season as the second-leading scorer in the Greater Houston area. Brooks was also selected to play in the Capital Classic High School All-Star Game in Washington, D.C. and recieved all-conference honors three times in addition to being named all-city twice. He also earned all-state honors and all-region honors. Brooks is the son of Lott J. Brooks III and Denise Crawford.

Josten Crow, Sam Houston State University
Position: Forward
High School: Spring Westfield High School
This week:Saturday, Dec. 8, at Houston Baptist University
About Crow: Crow played at Westfield High School for coach Larry Brown from 2002-2006. He was a Two-Time First-Team All-District selection and named the team's Defensive Most Valuable Player. Crow earned national rankings as high as No. 2. He is the son of Michael and Sharon Crow.
