Second Baptist High School student chosen for state choir

Corbin Schwinger, a Second Baptist High School freshman, was selected for the Texas Private School Music Educators Association All-State Choir.

The All-State Choir concert and clinic will be held Thursday to Saturday, Jan. 31 to Feb. 2 in San Marcos. The school made the announcement on Monday, Dec. 3.

According to a press release, "After advancing as a tenor out of the Houston regional auditions, Schwinger competed in Plano, Texas and was ranked 21st out of the top 25 tenors in the state of Texas from all grade levels."
