Winners of speech tournament announced

St. Thomas High School of Houston has announced the results of the St. Thomas Junior High Speech Tournament in November.

On Nov. 17, more than 70 middle school students from Saint Cecilia Catholic School competed with about 300 students from other private and parochial schools in Houston. When the results of all the various categories were tabulated, Saint Cecilia secured first place overall in the competition.
