No mystery here: She wants to invent
Yorkshire Academy third-grader Alexis “Lexi” Vaught is enthusiastic about reading, math, music and sports. She is involved in a number of activities at her school, including the Science Sizzles enrichment program. “(Lexi is a) super incredible student — academically, socially, but most importantly, she has a heart of gold,” said Yorkshire Academy staff member Lori Darnell. When she grows up, Vaught hopes to pursue a career as an inventor.
