Westbury Christian High grad Turk leads Loyola University Chicago to victory
Devon Turk led Loyola University Chicago to a 59-51 home victory against Mississippi State University with 21 points, according to Loyola's website.
The game was played Saturday, Dec. 15 at Gentile Arena in Chicago.
The freshman guard also recorded two rebounds, three assists, two steals and three blocks for the Ramblers, who improved to 7-3 on the season.
Loyola University Chicago's next game is at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, on the road against St. Peter's.
Turk is a 2012 graduate of Westbury Christian High School in Houston, where he was considered one of the top shooters from the Houston area.
