Christmas Eve Services, Lessons and Carols Service Taking place at St. Timothy's Anglican Church

St. Timothy's Anglican Church will present the service of Lessons and Carols preceding the Holy Eucharist on the fourth Sunday of Advent on Dec 23. Traditional music will be offered at the 8:45 a.m. service and contemporary music will be offered at the 11 a.m. service.

On Christmas Eve, there will be two services, the first at 6 p.m. and the second at 10:45 p.m. Pre-service music will begin 30 minutes prior to each service. The 6 p.m. service will feature contemporary music, along with the annual "Come as You Are" pageant. All kids from 4 years old through the sixth grade are invited to come to the first and second grade classroom at 5:30 p.m. to get into costume. No rehearsals are necessary. The 10:45 p.m. service is the traditional Midnight Mass. On Christmas morning, St Timothy's will have a quiet, no music service at 10 a.m.

"Merry Christmas! Christ came into the world to give us life," Fr. Stan of St. Timothy's said. "He is the source of joy for the holiday season, so keep Him close to your heart this Christmas."

For more information about the services, please call 281-255-4111 or visit www.sttimothysanglican.org. St. Timothy's Anglican Church is located at 6819 Louetta Road in Spring.

About St. Timothy's Anglican Church

St. Timothy's Anglican Church is a living, growing and dynamic Christian community where quality Christian education, for both children and adults, is found, and the church continues to care for the physical, spiritual and pastoral needs of all its members.

St. Timothy's met for the first time in the cafeteria of Tomball Junior High on Sunday, April 20, 2008. It was an amazing, spirit-filled day with more than 500 people joining together for the first service. On Christmas Eve 2008, the church moved to its permanent home.

"We hope that each of you feel welcome here and we invite you to join us as we seek to join God in the work He calls us to."
