Lions leadership conference set for Jan. 19
The Lions of District 2-S2 will host a leadership development conference Sunday, Jan. 19, 2013 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
The event will begin at 7:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast and will offer conference sessions and speeches.
Various aspects of leadership development designed to help clubs build on their strengths and overcome weaknesses will be discussed, according to an announcement from the Lions.
An orientation to the "World of Lions" will be held for newer members and project planning help will be available.
The focus of the conference will be on membership development by looking at the mentoring program, Guiding Lions and the Club Excellence program.
