Westbury Christian grad Orrange contributes to Stanford victory over Tennessee
Amber Orrange, a graduate of Westbury Christian High School, is a sophomore guard for the Stanford University women's basketball team.
Westbury Christian High School graduate Amber Orrange contributed 14 points in Stanford's 73-60 win over Tennessee on Saturday, Dec. 22 at Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tenn., Stanford's website reported.
The Stanford sophomore guard also recorded three rebounds, six assists, one block and three steals for the Cardinals, who are 11-0 on the season.
Stanford's next game is at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 against the University of Connecticut.
OrrangeĀ is a 2011 graduate of Westbury Christian High School in Houston, where she was named to the Parade High School All-America Team in 2011. Orrange was also a 2011 MaxPreps All-American and a 2011 McDonald's High School All-American. She was also named an All-Greater Houston Player of the Year and to the All-Greater Houston First Team by the Houston Chronicle in 2011. Orrange is from Houston and is the daughter of James and Elexa Orrange.
