Westbury Christian grad Ellis help Iowa State to victory
Westbury Christian High School graduate Fallon Ellis played for Iowa State in its 83-35 home win over the Air Force Academy Saturday, Dec. 29, at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, the Iowa State website reported.
The Iowa State sophomore forward recorded five rebounds and a steal for the Cyclones, who improved to 8-1 on the season.
Ellis is a 2010 graduate of Westbury Christian High School in Houston, where she was four-time letter winner for the Wildcats. Ellis earned all-state honors from the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches and TAPPS, was a 2011 McDonald's All-American game nominee, and also earned all-state honors as a junior. Ellis is from Missouri City and is the daughter of Sonya Watkins Ellis.
