Westbury Christian grad Turk contributes to Loyola win
Westbury Christian High School graduate Devon Turk scored 10 points as Loyola University (Illinois) won 69-61 at home over DePaul Saturday, Dec. 29 at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, the Loyola website reported.
The Loyola freshman guard also recorded an assist for the Ramblers, who improved to 9-3 on the season.
Loyola's next game is 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2 on the road against Valparaiso University.
Devon Turk is a 2012 graduate of Westbury Christian High School in Houston where he was considered one of the top shooters from the Houston area.
