Westbury Christian grad Ellis plays in Iowa State victory
Westbury Christian High School graduate Fallon Ellis scored eight points as Iowa State won 86-47 at home over Alabama State Sunday, Dec. 30, at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, State's website reported.
The Iowa State University sophomore forward also recorded four rebounds, one assist and snatched four steals for the Cyclones, who improved to 9-1 on the season.
Iowa State's next game is 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2 at home against University of Texas at Austin.
Ellis is a 2010 graduate of Westbury Christian High School in Houston, where she was four-time letter winner for the Wildcats. Ellis earned all-state honors from the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches and TAPPS, was a 2011 McDonald's All-American game nominee, and also earned all-state honors as a junior. Ellis is from Missouri City and is the daughter of Sonya Watkins Ellis.
