Mid-Winter Lions to host leadership conference Jan. 19
The Lions of District 2S2 will host a leadership development training conference Saturday, Jan. 19 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
The conference is set up to help Lions Clubs build on their strengths and help overcome their areas of weakness. Topics will include marketing the Lions Club in a changing environment, according to a club press release.
Membership development will also be a focal point of the conference, including the mentoring program, Guiding Lions and the Club Excellence Program.
The conference will begin at 7:30 a.m. and run until 2 p.m. at the church, 7901 Westview Drive, Houston.
