Westbury Christian grad Turk plays in Loyola loss
Westbury Christian High School graduate Devon Turk scored 10 points, but Loyola University lost 68-66 at home to conference rival Youngstown State Saturday, Jan. 5, at Gentile Arena in Chicago, the Loyola website reported.
Turk also recorded five rebounds for the Ramblers, who are 10-4 on the season and 1-1 in the Horizon League.
Loyola University (Illinois)'s next game is 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at University of Wisconsin, Green Bay.
Devon Turk is a freshman guard for Loyola University. He is a 2012 graduate of Westbury Christian High School in Houston where he was considered one of the top shooters from the Houston area.
