Westbury Christian grad Collins plays in South Florida loss
Westbury Christian High School graduate Anthony Collins scored five points as South Florida lost 55-44 at home to conference rival Syracuse Sunday, Jan. 6, at the Sun Dome in Tampa, South Florida's website reported.
Colllins also recorded four rebounds, seven assists, two steals and a block for the Bulls, who are 9-4 on the season and 0-1 in the Big East Conference.
South Florida's next game is at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at home against Villanova.
Collins, a 6-foot-1 sophomore guard for the the University of South Florida, is a 2011 graduate of Westbury Christian High School. He earned first team all-state honors three years in a row during high school. He is a Houston native.
