MicroSeismic Inc. wins Hire Power Award

MicroSeismic Inc. was recognized with a Hire Power Award for the number of jobs it has generated in the past three years, it was recently announced.

From 2008 to 2011, MicroSeismic Inc. grew 345 percent, ranking it the sixth private business job creator in the energy industry. The company fell just outside of the top 100 for all industries. The award is given by Inc.

"We're thrilled with this announcement," Greg Burns, vice president of Human Resources, said in a press release. "Our growth validates that customers are finding real value using our technology."

The winners of the Hire Power Awards were announced in the December/January issue of Inc. According to the release, the companies listed in the top 100 helped to create 73,032 jobs from 2008 to 2011.
