Westbury Christian grad Turk plays in Loyola loss

Westbury Christian High School graduate Devon Turk scored 14 points, but Loyola University (Illinois) fell short and lost 62-61 at home to conference rival Wright State Friday, Jan. 11, at Gentile Arena in Chicago, the Loyola website reported.

Turk also recorded three rebounds, a steal and two blocks for the Ramblers, who are 10-6 on the season and 1-3 in conference.

Loyola University (Illinois)'s next game is at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16 at UIC.

Devon Turk is a freshman guard for Loyola University. He is a 2012 graduate of Westbury Christian High School in Houston where he was considered one of the top shooters from the Houston area.
