About Cumbo: Cumbo is a redshirt freshman guard for the University of South Alabama. She is a 2011 graduate of Westside High School in Houston, where she was a four-year letter winner under head coach Troy Gillespie. Cumbo was named first-team all-district after averaging 14.7 points per game with five rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3.1 steals as a senior. She helped WHS to a second-place finish in its conference with a 26-11 record and was selected to participate in the Greater Houston Area All-Star Game in the spring of her senior year where she recorded nine points. The sports marketing major is from Houston and is the daughter of Eddie and Monique Cumbo.
