Westbury Christian grad Orrange scores 9 points in Stanford loss
Westbury Christian High School graduate Amber Orrange scored nine points in Stanford's 67-55 home loss to conference rival University of California-Berkeley on Jan. 13, according to Stanford's website.
The sophomore guard also recorded one rebound, one assist and one steal for Stanford University, which is 14-2 on the season and 3-1 in conference.
Stanford's next game is 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18 at home against UCLA.
Amber Orrange is a 2011 graduate of Westbury Christian High School in Houston where she was named to the Parade High School All-America Team in 2011. Orrange was also a 2011 MaxPreps All-American, 2011 McDonald's High School All-American and a 2011 MaxPreps All-American. She was also named an All-Greater Houston Player of the Year and to the All-Greater Houston First Team by the Houston Chronicle in 2011. Orrange is from Houston.
