St. Thomas grad King plays in Loyola loss
St. Thomas Catholic High School graduate Jeremy King played for Loyola in a 61-59 loss to conference rival UIC Wednesday, Jan. 16, at UIC Pavilion in Chicago, the Loyola website reported.
King and the Ramblers are 10-7 on the season and 1-4 in conference. Loyola's next game is 7:05 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20 at Chicago State.
King is a freshman center for Loyola University (Illinois). He is a 2012 graduate of St. Thomas Catholic High School in Houston, where he was a three-time team defensive most valuable player and collected all-district and district defensive MVP honors for the 2011-12 season. He was ranked as the No. 24 player in Houston by rcssports.com. King is from Houston.
