Building fire reported in Houston, Jan. 14
The Houston Fire Department reported a building fire that occurred in the 3400 block of Walnut Bend Lane in Houston at 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14.
The Houston Fire Department was the primary department on the scene.
The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental.
According to a press release from the department, "Houston Fire Department arson investigators have determined that discarded cigarettes caused an early morning fire to a southwest Houston apartment building and damaged eight units, four of which suffered heavy damage.
