John Paul II Catholic School's RoboKids earn Champions Award
John Paul II Catholic School announced that First Lego League's RoboKids were awarded the Champions Award on Jan. 12.
According to a press release from John Paul II Catholic School, "RoboKids won the Champions Award for first place overall at the FLL qualifier competition held at Paul Revere Middle School in Houston. The team also won awards for programming, research and gracious professionalism. This is only the second year of JPIIs Robotics team's existence, after winning the Rising Star Award in their first year."
The team is Caitlyn Cano, Mason Carroll, William Colgan, Jordi Creixell, Mark England, Aurora Fowler, Elias Hugh, Darren Nguyen, Keegan O'Connor and Jacob Schababerle.
